In continuation of the test on political views, here is a similar test on religious values. Answer 20 questions and you will be told what religion (if any) you practice...or ought to consider practicing.
I found out that I am a Secular Humanist, no surprise there.
This test will probably be more fun, or valid, for people who actually have a religion, but then a couple of us haven't seen the light yet...
The reason I like tests like these, even with their dubious thoroughness and/or validity, is that we often have preconceived notions about beliefs (religious or otherwise) that we don't have, and wrong notions about the beliefs we do have. But also they force us to consider indivual issues and, well, think. Thinking is a very underestimated activity.
I don't know if it is because of indifference, apathy, or even embarrassment at one's own beliefs, but either way, I don't like the implication of that.
I'm Orthodox Quaker (What?? I better read up on those guys) closely followed by liberal christian Protestant.
