We have introduced a new calendar feature on Gongumenn. The idea is to list the events and dates that we participate in or might otherwise be interesting to us. Please tune in with any comments or suggestions you might have.
In the sidebar you can see a list of upcoming events, and in the top menu there's a link to the full calendar. The calendar lists dates in DK, dates in FO, birthdays, and a TV-guide. If you use Google Calendar you can even add the Gongumenn calendar to your own.

The Vuzman has worked tirelessly on this one and I think the result is very impressive. I doubt there is another php-fusion cms out there that can boast of such a fine integration. So a big thank you to the Vuzman from me. We owe you a solid.
If you can think of any information that should be listed on the calendar that isn't, dont hesitate to mention it.

Was flawless to add it to my Google Calender. Super addition

Is it intentional that I can't add an event to the calendar?
But it looks really impressive! Good job!

yeah, for now Vuzman will be the one adding events. Drop him a private message if you want something added.
In the future we might do this in another way, depending on how the calendar is used. We figured it was nice to have one person administering it; one person seeing the big picture.

Might be a good idea With all the spam going on, it's better to limit it to as few people as possible.
Besides, it's easy to message Vuz and let him know of an important event, if one will pop up.

As you may have noticed I have added the World Cup matches to the calendar. It even has live updating of results! (refresh required)

Super, now to move the Calender further up the site

I tweaked the code a little bit, so hopefully we'll be rid of the annoying "Moved temporarily" message.

I made another try at fixing the calendar, as the previous try obviously failed. Should work far better now.
