Brazil vs. Croatia
News by GrizlasOk, so we're just about to start Brazil's first match in this here world cup.

As usual, their side is bursting with international superstars like Ronaldinho and Ronaldo, although there seems to be a fitness issue with the latter. Maybe he's been feasting on those trans-fats. Then there are Robinho, Roberto Carlos, Kaka... I can hardly wait!

Croatia have apparently played 1-1 against brazil recently, so maybe this wont be as easy as some might think.

Based partly on my extensive soccer experience and partly on what I read in my horoscope today, I predict the match to end 2-2! what do you think?

we'll see after the game, enjoy!

Yeah I'm not a bookie or astrologist.

I was expecting more from the Brazilian side than what they gave me today.  The absolute lowpoint was without a doubt Ronaldo, who it seems, is too sexy for the world cup. He just stands there and says with every ounce (and there are a few) of his being that he's bored shitless, and would rather be back at the hotel with his playstation or munching on a big mac at the local Mcd.

The second disappointment was that old geezer Kafu. I dont know why national teams insist on starting these age old relics. Let someone who hasn't played 150 national games have a crack at it - someone that doesn't need a kane.

All in all it was decent match I suppose. Lots of tempo and missed oppurtunities.  Maybe Brazil is just finding its feet you know, easing into top gear? lets hope so.

Even I saw the start, I had to tape it for my parents. Something about a Faroese kid leading a brazilian out. Hope the half time break isn't 30 mins, only had 2 hours left on the DVD and started a bit before the match started.

hehe speaking of kids accompanying players, when they came onto the pitch just now, Ronaldinho was holding hands with this cute little kid, and both were sorta smiling. Then right behind him comes Ronaldo, holding hands with this little chubby kid and looking rather depressed.

The kids have to match the player!
