One of the better things to come out of EVE was this song on the original soundtrackin 2003 (which was removed in-game ages ago), kind of wasted on a space MMORPG game tbh.

Luckily the composer uploaded the track to YouTube 10 years ago.

Tom Waits splits opinions, but his original is superior to the more known Rod Stewart version. Also as the sub-title explains its about being on one or several benders in Copenhagen smiley

Going to be a double video post:

Jim Croce - Operator (That's Not The Way It Feels)

Rick and Mary had a joint episode, they were looking at this song, and I kept humming along. I'm certain I've heard it quite a lot in days past. Think its been played quite a bit on the radio back 10-20 years ago in FO or maybe there is some Mandela Effect at play. The synchronized guitars are just excellent considering its a live recording.

Then I went looking into the discography of Jim Croce, and this next song was absolutely played a lot over the radio. I liked it a lot whenever it was played by KVF DJ's long past, but never knew who actually sang it, hence it never ended up on any of my playlists - until now.

Jim Croce - Time in a bottle

The biography of Jim Croce is quite sad, or bittersweet. He did 7 albums in 7 years and died in a plane crash as he was becoming a household name or star.

If Nestor did this collaboration with Samantha Fox in the early 90's and it got some traction, it would have ended up on power ballads, i'm sure of it smiley

Soen - Hollowed (Elisa)

One of many brilliant songs from the album Memorial. Definately my favourite album of 2023 so far.
