Not a cover per se, but fits in here anyway. A Mash-up of the Top 25 Hits of 2009 according to Billboard:

FANTASTIC!

One of my favourite songs - it's actually my ringtone and has been for a long time.

The original is still better, though. Search youtube for Electric Six and the song "Gay Bar".

I'm not sure how this cover compares to e.g. Igor Presnyakov's version, but there is one think that's absolutely brilliant:

This cover version gives me goosebumps - even if it is x-factor.

While we're on x-factor:

This was a fantastic performance. I have no clue why that kid didn't win.

He was my favorite all the way too...I guess people figure that since he's so young he'll have plenty of chances down the road.

I never liked him. He's very talented, no doubt about that, he just seems completely devoid of personality to me.

Yeah, I know what you mean...too stereotypical..

But he's only 15. He has time to develop a personality yet smiley

I really liked Jesper - he had some excellent performances, but I got annoyed at the almost constant auto-tune sound (at least that's what I think it was).

I think it was that he was completely unfazed by everything; never showing any lack of confidence or real emotion. Just staring at the camera like a retarded reptile.

It isn't the best cover ever, but it certainly took me by surprise. On the other hand with that hair you can probably sing everything.

Eivør doing a good job of covering Kate Bush's Hounds of Love, boy can she sing. Good idea to check Kate Bush's version if you aren't familiar with it. 720p always smiley

Nice. I really like the Futureheads' version too. When I heard that version a few years back, I thought the song was familiar, but it's so different from the original that I did not consider Kate Bush.
