Are we ever going to mars?
News by GrizlasThe last president to sit in the white house set some bold agendas for Americas return to the moon and putting a man on mars. He then proceeded to slash Nasa's budget by $10 billion.

arnoldObama wanted to make another trim of about $3 billion, but decided to order a review of Nasa's plans for human spaceflight. The results are now in;

"The US's mission to return to the moon, with flights scheduled to begin by 2020, will have to be put off to beyond 2028 if NASA is stuck with its current budget, Ride warned. And the agency's replacement for the 30-year-old space shuttle will not fly its first crew into space until almost three years after the planned retirement of the International Space Station (ISS) in 2016, when the outpost will be dismantled and its constituent pieces sent careening into the ocean.

"It will be difficult with the current budget to do anything that's terribly inspiring in human space flight," said committee chair Norman Augustine, previously CEO of Lockheed Martin."

Is it time we start looking elsewhere for a commitment to space exploration? I'm disillusioned. Whole article here

Welcome back Mike
News by Grizlas

According to the spanish news agency (EFE), Mike Tyson will be boxing again on December 20th against a Nenand Stankovic in Serbia, Belgrade. The 43 year old Tyson will take on the local Stankovic who is unbeaten but has not fought since October 20 of 2006 against Corey Sandler.

tyson
"My promoter has given me the perfect gift - a fight against Tyson for my 33rd birthday," said Stankovic.

As of yet none of this has been confirmed. EFE is citing serbian news as their source, which makes it difficult to follow up on the facts.

In any case, I for one can't wait to see him in the ring again. Last I heard he'd put on a bunch of weight. I wonder if he could get back into any kind of shape this late in the game.

Rest in peace Michael
News by GrizlasThe king of pop has died at the young age of 50. According to various sources he died of cardiac arrest in his Holmby Hills home where paramedics were unable to revive him.

jackson
I can scarcely imagine any other person having led such a turbulent and, at times, scandalous, life. He was truly the king of pop and in his prime he was untouchable in music and style. I doubt anyone will ever make an album like thriller again, now with how file sharing is changing the music business.

It is my hope, that people will remember his music and forget the plastic surgeries, balcony baby incidents and child abuse cases - for just to mention a few of the many scandals he was involved in.

I think everybody of my generation has been influenced by this man in some way or another. He will be missed.

works with no issues in normal version of Firefox. I'm guessing you either did not do CTRL+F5 or are using some adblock plugin.
