Redid it with a good headset (also so that Luna wouldn't bark like crazy).
11000 clear, 11500 nothing at all. Same weird experience as Grizlas.

Wow!
That was weird. The sound got a little bit distorted around 9-10k, and then ok again.
And then like you guys, the sound suddently shut off. For me it was after 13500, which is a lot better than expected.
On the second attempt, it stopped after 13000
