Zakk Wylde with some good points during this interview, about playing styles of great guitarists and so on.
One discussion point in the interview, when asked about where it all started, he straight went to Cream - Sunshine of Your Love over The Beatles - Helter Skelter, even claiming it was the first heavy metal song. Hadn't thought about it, but it is 1 year older, he's bloody right. It's the foundation that Sabbath and Zeppelin built upon, and it all leads back to Chuck Berry.
Then when Charlie Benante said Queen inspired Judas Priest I laughed and nodded along :D
