ASML is really interesting, people (i.e. Reddit) have talked a lot about it back a few months ago when the Taiwan independence topic was front page news.
Nice intro video you found there. Funny part they leave out is that the patent holder / inventor (Burn-Jeng Lin) worked for IBM, later for TSMC. He is now retired. He shopped the idea around until ASM and Phillips went for it and made his research ... real ... and founded the ASML join-venture. If IBM or TSMC had backed him, it wouldn't be a 200 billion euro company in the Netherlands that controls the world's supply of high end microchips.
