I liked the interview, Shawn comes across as a reasonable person (with caveats), Joe asks some good critical questions, and it gave a good representation of what the carnivore diet is all about.
That said, he failed to convince me. He doesn't get his blood work done (he goes by feels), he repeats the stupid idea that the Inuit are pillars of health, and he has a unscientific reasoning towards not needing micronutrients and a balanced diet. Dr Rhonda should have been on with him and given him some high-level retorts.
To give an example: he postulates that cultures where people are tall are proof of good diets (and mentions the Masai as an example of carnivores), I would retort with "so how about those Inuit, eh?"
