Now all I need to do is figure out how to stop sleeping!
But, seriously, as much as I wish I could just take a pill, or drink a smoothie to avoid eating, I don't think it's feasible. We simply do not have enough knowledge about our body's needs, or what combination of macronutrients is optimal, or about what micronutrients we get from food. This guy is not a nutritionist, or anything, and the stuff he's making has not been laboratory tested, and the users and their results have not been controlled or tested, and so on.
People have taken issue with my wish to stop eating before, so I'd like to clarify here: I like food, I like eating, I like the ritual of having a meal with other people. It's the fact that I have to do it several times every day that I don't like. It's just a waste of time. The same goes for sleeping; complete waste of time. |

Interesting.
I've often wondered if it would be possible to quit food like you can quit, say, smoking. I'm very skeptical about this thing here though for all the reasons you mentioned.
And I think there is a serious philosophical side to your quest for more and more time. While I am certainly aware of the fact that our time on this planet is short, and one might be stricken with some cruel and terrible affliction at any time, I'm not as eager to extend my time here as you seem to be. Exactly why that is, I look forward to exploring with you over a case of beer sometime |
