This was rather interesting. If what he says is true - and we have little reason to think it shouldn't be - then flash is on the way out. The piece is extremely well worded and the arguments clear as day. With microsoft also adopting h.264, it really looks as if flash will be squeezed out.
I hate flash anyways, so I'm happy I never spent any length of time trying to master it

I have a pretty good insight into this and most of what he says is widely accepted in the industry as true. I think that most of those that disagree do so on ideological grounds.
