These do not seem like the ramblings of an insane person. Much of what he is saying makes sense and explains how some things work in the US. The man was frustrated and at the end of his tether. It seems that he felt that this was the only way to make a point.
I would like to point out that I do not condone what he did - indeed I find it despicable. However, had he not committed this act, we would not have heard/read what he had to say (and he had tried for decades).
On a side note... It's annoying, when your comment doesn't upload... This was my second attempt. Does anyone know, why this happens? Is it just the connection and web-traffic? |

Pretty much agree with you on the letter, Laluu, although I think the mere fact that he was able to demonstrate his discontentment in such a way is proof of how much freedom he had. Still, I completely agree with his bottom line:
The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.
Both ideas are fundamentally flawed imo.
As for the disconnection thing, then It's probably a consequence of our choice of web hosting. It might get better if we get a better and more expensive host, but then again, it might not. I always CTRL+A, CTRL+C before I post to make sure I don't lose anything. |
