Oddly, Princes "signature" song, Purple Rain, wasn't written by him, but by his backing singers, Wendy & Lisa.
However, Sinead O'Connors most famous hit, "Nothing Compares 2 u" was written by Prince.

Hattar passar ikki heilt. Prince eigur Purple Rain, har Wendy gjördi tey fyrstu chords til sangin.
Úr filminun Purple Rain, verður tað gjört til at Wendy og Lisa hava skriva sangin. Men tað er fiktion, men nógv halda at tað er sögan aftanfyri sangin, men tað er ikki so.
