Zapping through channels and this song came up, somehow I could sing along despite:
1) It not really being my genre, though I like rap and used to listen to Petter
2) not having heard this song in 12+ years
Anyone else have a blast from the past they can share? Actually made me smile singing along to a tune; remembering parties in the days of yore
p.s. blast from the past, not something we have on playlists, but rather something we've forgotten about ...

This thread seems like the best place to post this, even if their music has never left my playlists. They're coming back!
Article also explained why the only source for their music I can find is YouTube videos and old mp3 downloads.
Even the band’s self-destruction was extraordinary. At the 1992 Brits (where they sent a motorcycle courier on to the stage to collect their Best British Group award), the KLF performed a thrash-metal version of 3am Eternal, fired blanks into the audience from a machine gun and closed with the declaration: “Ladies and gentlemen, the KLF have now left the music business.” They then dumped a dead sheep bearing the message, “I died for you – bon appetit,” at one of the aftershow parties.
...
Because they owned their own music, their farewell was more final than most – their entire back catalogue was immediately deleted and remains commercially unavailable...

This thread got me thinking about some of the other blasts from the past.
How about this one from 1995
Or maybe you'd enjoy it more in this version by William Shatner and Ben Folds from 2004

Sums um my feelings about the current situation
Der lød en stille hvisken
Og tiden gik i stå
Den dag de stilled' bilerne
Og gik bort på må og få
[Omkvæd]
Nu vandrer de på sletterne
Og stammens gamle mænd
De synger op til stjernerne:
"La' det aldrig ske igen"
[Vers 2]
På gaden i den døde by
Der sidder stakkels Jim
I nattens mørke drømmer han
Om den tid, der var engang
[Kontraststykke]
En dag tog pokker pludselig ved menneskene
De forlod deres store byer og deres fabrikker
Og deres flotte biler og gik ud på sletten og sagde:
"La' os begynde helt forfra igen"
Men tilbage i den døde by
