A month has passed since the last news item was posted - glorifying some geeky american who earned a bit of money by selling various gadgets.

In that month, we have seen a general election take place, preceded by a not very heated (luke-warm, maybe?) election campaign. And now negotiations between various parties are taking place to determine who should govern these isles.

In Gongumenn-land, however, there have been two events that have far surpassed anything else in terms of importance and buzz...

Big event number 1:
Vester went to Copenhagen! This meant that week-long preparations took place to ensure that everyone was available and prepared for marathon sessions of 'Through the Ages'.
- but when push came to shove, Norlander chickened out (he had to comb his hair or something). And Torellion suddenly remembered that he was supposed to watch back-to-back screenings of the Twilight-saga.
There were no reports of whether the session actually took place, nor did we hear if there were any casualties (wounded or drunk).

Big event number 2.
You would think that Arsenal beating Chelsea 5-3 at Stamford bridge would create a buzz. But the only thing that got the Gongumenn agitated was that Vuzman wanted loads of money for betting on Chelsea to beat Chelsea. Some were calling "shenaningans", but it seems that the soft-spoken Malmø-resident got what he wanted. Others are wondering how this could be and what "dirt" he could have on the otherwise trustworthy Grizlas, who has such a respectable and clean image/reputation. Suspicions of foul play remain, with Roffen thought to have started an investigation into suspected blackmail and money-laundering.
