Heat-X1 Tycho BraheToday, June 2nd 2011 at 16.32, Denmark made it's first sucessful test with it's spaceship, Heat-X1 - Tycho Brahe.

After the first initial failed attempt in 2010, this second attempt was a complete success. The goal was to reach a height of around 15km, and though it's not yet sure exactly how high the rocket flew, the result still remains a complete success.

The scientists are now gathering all the data and will use it to improve on the next stage of the space-plan.

Contrary to other nations, the space-program is not funded by the state, but rather is spearheaded by two entuistic scientists, Kristian von Bengtson and Peter Madsen, supported by many voluntary scientists and space-hobbyists.

The Heat-X1 Tycho Brahe stands 9,5m tall and weighs out at just over 2.000kg. There is currently no scheduled next launch, though the scientists say there will be one.
