DNFAs a kind of late reaction to the newsitem of "Duke Nukem shut down"

Having been in production since 1996, when Duke Nukem 3D was published, the project has had a constant release date that stated "when it's done" until 2009, when 3DRealms finally buckled and closed down the project. Now Take Two and Gearbox Software have taken over the project and issued a new release date June 10th 2011 in Europe and June 14th in USA.

The game will be published on PS3,
PlayStation and PC (I'm assuming this means both Windows & MacX).
Apart from the multiplayergaming, the Duke Nukem Forever will have a lengthy campaign, where you will shoot alien heads and pretty much anything else!

Publisher TakeTow and developer Gearbox Software have teamed up with Piranha Games, which have been involved in developing games like "Need for Speed, Undercover", "MechWarrior" and "Transformers, the game".

Duke Nukem is supposedly going to be using the Unreal 3D engine, but everything else will be developed from scratch.
The most interesting part will be the multiplayer part. Multiplayer sees up to eight people go head-to-head across four modes: Dukematch, Team Dukematch, Hail to the King and Capture the Babe.
