Obama for President

Obama'%3Bs potential running mates

So who do you think would be the right VP?

I like John Edwards who for some reason isn't listed as a top candidate. To be honest, I don't know that much about him, other than that he has a heart and wants to do something about the situation of the poor, and health care, and the like. Maybe he's not among the top candidates because he keeps losing in the presidential primaries, but I think that's because he seems to be too nice and boyish. As a VP though I think he would be good, but maybe he's too similar to Obama in many ways.

Which brings me to Wesley Clark. He complements Obama perfectly by filling Obama's (at least perceived) gaps in foreign policy experience, and would still any worries about a White House with Obama at the helm being weak on terror.

Wesley Clark is by far my favorite. Nobody has been able to so concisely speak on military matters. The war he oversaw (NATO invasion of Kosovo) is miles from this Baghdad boondoggle we have now.

I don't think there should be another senator on the ticket. So if it's not Clark it should be Bill Richardson or a Governor like Kathleen Sibelius.
